The quiet part out loud? Little Italy might be the most affordable fine dining in New York and the Feast of San Gennaro Festival shouldn’t be the only way you discover this. Of the prix fixe centers in Manhattan, it’s the only neighborhood where you’re guaranteed an above-average wine and dessert for under $100 for two people. But the yearly festival in the three square blocks we call our Europe does offer something even better for fall and that’s warmth. Temps will drop a little and outdoor eating will wane. Yet, we’re all entitled to some coziness at the top of cuffing season and what better than pasta to cradle us in the first cold seasons?
